Camberley gain revenge
Extras play their part
Having defeated our visitors earlier in the season they arrived looking to seek revenge and they did in pretty serious style. Funnell won the toss and elected to bat and he set us off with an unbeaten 41. Once he went we capitulated from 75-2 to 82-8. Some, shall we say, wayward bowling and sensible batting at the lower order pushed us to a score of 149 which was always looking to be 50 short of a competitive total, Thake and Wood hitting some lusty blows. Camberley powered to the win in just 15 overs with some powerful hitting. The Baggies never sagged in the field and gave a good account of themselves but you have to doff your cap to a stronger side on the day so well played Camberley.
