Marlow Park Vs Bagshot

Toss was won by Marlow who elected to bat, Matt and Jake opened bowling but failed to make any inroads and after 10 overs were replaced by Jonny A and Brad who put a brake on the run rate, Jonny the pick with 3-19 off 8 very good overs. Brad bowled nicely too, James and Gunpreet were a little expensive but Gunpreet claimed his first BCC wicket stumped by Andy.
Field placing was tough as we had to hide one or two or was it 7 or 8!!!
Marlow eventually finished their 40 overs with 242 for 5.

In reply we lost early wickets, with only James offering any real resistance as we crumpled to 85-5, James was joined by Brad who settled things down, partnership of 54, James out for 63. Jake joined Brad and they added 37 Brad making his maiden 50 for the club, again out for 63, Jake a useful 20 but we came up short in the end 184 all out.

Useful run out before the league starts next week, everyone got a decent game in the sunshine.
