Sunday Friendly XI vs Crowthorne & Crown Wood

On a beautiful, hot sunny day, the Baggies batted first. Willo and Taz put on the third consecutive century opening partnership to get us off to a strong start. Willo survived a dropped catch on his way to a century, reaching it with three sixes in a row before retiring. The Celtic Warrior, Justin hit a quick 26 as we piled up a healthy 229.
Our visitors found runs hard to come by, only their left hander showing any resistance, finishing unbeaten on 60 as they finally subsided to 108 after we'd managed to spill at least seven chances.
One unlucky batsman found himself being run out backing up as Santosh managed to deflect the ball onto the stumps while taking evasive action.
