The Baggies entertained Shepperton, who arrived with just nine men. On winning the toss, they put us in to bat. A decision they probably soon regretted as JG and BALCOMBE set about their bowlers, putting on a partnership of 165 inside 21 overs before James was dismissed. JG went on to make a fine and mainly untroubled century before retiring as we declared early with 218 on the board.
The visitors reply got off to a steady rather than spectacular start, Chuckles and Josh both beating the bat before Josh finally made the breakthrough. The rest of their wickets fell at regular intervals as all seven bowlers used, took a wicket. Geoff being the most successful with two!
Credit goes to Mark Osbon who carried his bat for 66 as the rest of his team were all bowled except one.
MOM JG for his ton, closely followed by BALCOMBE with runs and the final wicket.
