Batting first, we were well set for a good score with JG and Matt going well. When they both fell in consecutive overs, our innings began to falter. A useful partnership from "reet enuff" Justin and Mikey kept us in the game but our tail did not wag as we managed to lose four wickets for no runs. At tea we had a slightly below par score to defend.
The opening batsmen both played a mixture of attacking shots, plenty of which travelled through the gaps between fielders much to our frustration. A century partnership followed before Mikey dismissed both of them. The rest of the batsman continued to attack and we managed to take seven wickets before they reached the target. The skipper didn't help matters by dropping a chance off his own bowling which might have made the difference...
