We travelled to Kew on the nicest day of the season so far, and won the toss and decided to bowl first. It looked to be paying off as an inspired spell of fast bowling by Will saw the hosts reeling at 80 odd for 8. However the captain and no 10 had other ideas and a frustrating second half of their innings had us scratching our heads a little, until Brad came on and took the final two wickets, Kew finally all out for 182 after 47 overs.
In reply we lost Dan early doors, but Mikey/Chris and then Willo moved us to a comfortable position, another half century from Willo ably supported for a bit by debutant Matt James. Brad and Will then saw us home with almost 20 overs to spare, partnership of 40 to get us the 25 points we were hoping for.
Results went our way too, both Datchet and Amersham losing saw us go back to top of the table.
MOM Will Grinstead, 19 overs 6-40, one sweaty boy!!
